Tour Guide Pick-up from your hotel 7:00-8:30 and then drive to Ming Tombs (50 miles from downtown about one hour). The thirteen Ming Tombs are the best preserved Chinese imperial tombs of 500 years of history. Visit Changling, the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried. The visit to Ming Tombs takes about 1 hour. Visiting the Ming Tombs finishes at about 10:45. Before lunch (11:30 hours), you will have 45 minutes for a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. Jade is a mixture of Chinese famous special, one of the outstanding skills of carving and Chinese traditional cultures.
Traditional Chinese lunch at the restaurant Jindian. After lunch, drive to the Badaling Great Wall. The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 2 hours. Badaling section of the wall is the most famous and best preserved. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Gondola is optional.
On the way to your hotel, we also arrange a visit just outside the “Bird’s Nest, Water Cube” the main line of the Olympic stadium being built for the Olympics in 2008. Then you can enjoy the traditional art of Chinese silk. After the visit transfer to your hotel.
